• Johnny D's: "Uptown Restaurant and Music Club". Always top shelf entertainment, and oftentimes presents Canadian musicians. Get there early for some fine food before the show.

• Buddy MacMaster. From Judique to just about all over the world, Buddy's loves to play for dances. As he says, "You have to give it a lift or a lively feel to make the dancer feel like dancing or perform better, you know" (quote from above link page). Not too much time ever passes before we get to hear him in the Boston States again.
• Natalie MacMaster. Isn't it great that we can go hear Natalie at Symphony Hall and Folk Festivals throughout the U.S., and my isn't it fond to remember (for those who can say they do :) that they saw Natalie at the Club in Watertown way back when. And, oh yeh, her Uncle Buddy can play a bit too!
• J.P. Cormier is a genius musician; masterfully adept at guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and likely dozens of other instruments. From Cape Breton to Carolina, Nashville to Newfoundland, and Boston College to British Columbia, album collections won't be considered complete without at handful of J.P.'s offerings. (And yes, Joe is J.P's uncle).
• Andrea Beaton Picking right up from her father Kinnon Beaton's gifted playing, Andrea is off to a superb start, already creating excellent performances and recordings.
• Wendy MacIsaac is a fiddler/piano player/stepdancer from Creignish, Cape Breton, Canada. Wendy has been touring all over the world for the last ten years with Mary Jane Lamond, Ashley MacIsaac, Beolach (her current band) and as a solo performer. On 12 Feb 05, Wendy enthused all with a Cape Breton dance at the Canadian-American Club, accompanied by Patrick Gillis, Buddy MacDonald, and Janine Randall.
• Hilali features a trio of accomplished fiddlers Hanneke Cassel, Laura Cortese, and Lissa Schneckenburger, along with Flynn Cohen on guitar.
